What happened to the music?
There are a bunch of exciting changes happening to the Deepfunk site lately. Many are behind the scenes in order to improve your experience however some are right in plain sight - like the redesigned releases section or Twitter integration.
This change is “not in your ear”.
Wait, what???
I suppose that sounds odd but what I’m talking about is the removal of the music which automatically started when you visited the website. We replaced it with a user controlled jukebox that now only plays our awesome music when you press the button.
No one wants you to check out our latest releases more than we do but in 2010, the auto-play on websites are more of an annoyance than a feature. I like to think that if something annoys us, there’s a good chance it’ll annoy you too. So, let’s change that.
We think you’ll dig the new setup better but we’re open for your input.
Tell us what you think in the comments.
